Percy Barnaby

Percy Barnaby - Owner / Chairman of the Board
Prior to establishing Abenaki, Percy’s experience included 20 years of military service followed by a number of senior positions with the Federal Government, including National Housing Director at Indian Affairs, and Director of Aboriginal Employment with the Public Service Commission. He has also been involved with many organizations as a board member, including Wabano Healing Center, Odawa Friendship Center, the Metis Nation of Ontario, the Miramichi Hospital Advisory Board, and the Ontario Aboriginal Partnership Program. He was awarded an Honourable Mention in the Xerox Management Excellence award in 2008 by the Aboriginal Financial Officers’ Association.

Carol Ann Barnaby

Carol Ann Barnaby - Vice President
Carol Ann Barnaby is Abenaki's resident Sage expert, and has been instrumental in running the business since 1984. Having logged enough travel miles to reach the sun and back, Carol Ann is intimately aware of the unique operating environments of our clients who live in remote communities. In addition to running the show here at Abenaki, Carol Ann has also serves as a Director of the Atlantic Chapter of the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association.

Michelle Poirier

Michelle Poirier - Director of Development
Michelle has been with Abenaki since 1984 and is one of the owners of the Company. She is responsible for the development of software products and training programs. Michelle enjoys travelling to all areas of Canada to deliver training courses and support services in many of the Abenaki and Sage ERP Modules.

Peter Myles Barnaby

Peter Barnaby - Marketing Manager
Peter has been working with Abenaki since May of 2008. He has over 13 years of experience in fields ranging from Film / Video Production to Web / Graphic Design and is responsible for the conceptualization, design, and implementation of Abenaki branding and marketing efforts.

Melanie McFarlane

Melanie McFarlane CET - Administrator / Client Support
Melanie has been employed by Abenaki Associates since 2007 as their Administrator and Client Support Specialist. Her previous work experience in the field of computers and administration, combined with her education in Computer Engineering Technology make Melanie a valuable asset to the company.

Amy Young

Amy Young - Account Manager and Marketing Specialist
Amy has been employed by Abenaki Associates since 2008, she has over 7 years experience in the marketing and communications field, encompassing account management and marketing to clients all over Canada. She also assists in accounting and administrative tasks, and enjoys meeting and chatting with new clients on a regular basis.

Eddie Zoelner

Eddie Zoellner - Sage Associate / Trainer
Eddie has been working with Abenaki Associates since 2007 servicing clients across Canada. Eddie has been a Sage Certified Consultant and trainer for both Sage Accpac ERP and Simply Accounting by Sage since 2002. Previous to that Eddie was a lead instructor at a private business College in western Canada. He also has 15 years of Experience in Business Management .
